Paediatric speech and language therapy career history

  • May 1998 to present date: Private Speech and Language Therapy Practice

    Speech, language, literacy and thinking skills with home/ school programmes, individual / group therapy and training. Now in the sixteenth year of independent practice.

  • April 2004 to April 2006: Hextable Language Unit

    Part-time with years 7 to 13 as the Speech and Language therapist. Successfully managing the caseload, working as part of a team at the language unit.

  • January 2003 to 2004: Dorton House School
    Grade 2 – Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (spine point 33)

    Part-time work as one of three speech and language therapists and part of a large therapy team working with the secondary level students and college students with visual impairments and additional difficulties. Close work alongside Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, educational, living skills staff and parents.
